What is Healing?

Many people talk about healing today. While it has a vast array of meaning, nuance, and application, I found these definitions that I like:

1. The process of making or becoming sound or healthy again
2. To alleviate (a person's distress or anguish)
3. To correct or put right (an undesirable situation)

I believe in being a conscious participant of your own healing, in a a gentle and safe way. Choosing to observe your emotions and pain points in life, taking the time to examine them with curiosity, not judgment, learn more about who you are at your core, and process what you experience and feel. There are many practical tools available for this process.

For me, healing boils down to this: the more I heal, the more free I become.
Free to exist, to feel, to dream, to live wholeheartedly, to process pain, to feel peace, to live authentically, to experience deeper connection in my relationships and to myself.

Maybe you’re not consciously aware of what might need healing, but you’re interested. Maybe you’ve just started your healing journey and aren’t sure where to go next. Or maybe you’ve been doing a lot of inner work for a while and want to go further. No matter where you are, this is a gentle invitation into your own experience. You can do as little or as much as you want, and both are good options.

If you’re interested in learning some practical tools from me and my team, I’d love to invite you to our one-day Wildish Healing Retreat for women, a day of rest, reflection, and rejuvenation with us. Please connect with me, or go to the Wildish page to learn more.

Here’s to you and your unfolding journey!
